Plaez ("Plaez," "we," "us") operates plaez.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English on purpose.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, we collect your name, your email address, your state, whether you are a parent, club director, or coach, and, if you choose to share it, your club or team name.
Information collected automatically. We do not run analytics or tracking tools on this site. Our website host, Netlify, which also processes the waitlist form, keeps standard server logs that can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. Fonts are served from our own site, so viewing this site does not send your information to a fonts provider.
How we use it
- Contact you when Plaez goes live in your area.
- Send you updates about Plaez. You can unsubscribe any time.
- Understand interest by region and by role so we launch in the right places.
- Operate, protect, and improve the site.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your waitlist information with lenders. When Plaez launches, information will only go to a lending partner if you choose to apply, and we will tell you clearly before that happens.
When we share information
- Service providers. Netlify hosts this site and processes the waitlist form for us. Providers like this may only use your information to do that work for us.
- Lending partners, at launch, and only when you apply. Joining the waitlist never shares your information with a lender.
- Legal reasons. If the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Plaez, our users, or others.
Children
Plaez helps parents and guardians cover the cost of youth sports, but this website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us using the steps below and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Access, correction, and deletion. Contact us using the steps below and we will show you the information we have about you, fix it, or delete it.
- State rights. Residents of some states have additional privacy rights under state law. Contact us the same way and we will respond as the law requires.
How long we keep information
We keep waitlist information as long as we need it to run the waitlist and launch, or until you ask us to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is 100% secure, so we cannot promise perfect security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, we will let waitlist members know by email.

For any privacy question or request, use the form on our home page. Enter your name and email, and type "privacy request" in the club or team box. We will follow up by email. A dedicated privacy email address is coming with our full launch.
